Your thinking effects your chemistry this is now a provable fact in research. We know this intuitively for when we get discouraged and disheartened we can feel a lot of things changing for example our energy level may be low. Also our bodies feels different when we are down to when we are high spirited and it doesn’t take a big leap to assume that our chemistry is going for ride. The chemistry is not the cause of the discouragement or high-spiritedness, the cause is what is going on in your mind. One constant with human beings is that we think from birth to death, we are constant thinking machines. Another constant is that every thought we have is accompanied by a feeling. It is like you and your shadow or your voice and your echo. Here these beautiful words of scripture Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
