Afraid of falling

Christianity teaches that life proceeds from death. We can see this repeated pattern in nature we have autumn when the leaves fall, and are buried throughout winter, but new life starts to emerge in Spring. Falling comes before rising. Unless a grain of wheat falls in the ground and dies it doesn’t bear forth. In Judo the first thing that you do in training is to learn how to fall once you are no longer afraid of falling then you can do Judo. In Christianity the first thing we should teach is a similar type of falling, we must learn how to be rejected, once you are no longer afraid of rejection you can follow the pathway of Christ. Mentioning Judo reminds me of the Japanese proverb fall down seven times stand up eight. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
