Stop waiting
People wait for a multitude of things: for the weather to change, the perfect mate to come along, the winning lottery numbers. Some are waiting finally to be heard by their spouses. Others are waiting to be appreciated by their bosses. Still others are waiting to be loved for the first time. We are waiting. Waiting for something to change outside of ourselves that sweeps away the fear of taking a chance or trying something new, something that would grant us the courage and the permission we need to live with passion. We are waiting for a guarantee that if we risk, nothing bad will happen. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ (who said don’t be afraid) and his church.
