Set-Forward
A setback is a set-forward. I like them and I like it when someone who invites a friend gets a no. This will give them another chance to practice what we have to do in between the setbacks. We gather hope and have a rest from the rejection, and we begin to learn more in the setback, we are able to build up God’s voice, that inner voice which will support and direct. It can only be there if it has been earned. We will have grown when we know the way out of a setback so well that we no longer fear the way in. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church and no longer fear the setback.
