A setback is a set-forward. I like them and I like it when someone who invites a friend gets a no. This will give them another chance to practice what we have to do in between the setbacks. We gather hope and have a rest from the rejection, and we begin to learn more in the setback, we are able to build up God’s voice, that inner voice which will support and direct.¬†It can only be there if it has been earned. We will have grown when we know the way out of a setback so well that we no longer fear the way in. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church and no longer fear the setback.
