Living in the dash

The writings on our gravestones are all we will be a hundred years from now. There will be our birth date and the date of our death, and then there will be the dash between. Our lives are the dash. Most people spend their lives trying to increase the magnitude of the second number by being careful. The other way to expand who we are is to enhance the meaningfulness of the dash. The journey called transcending fear is how we break through perceived limitations in order to live a life worth living. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ who transcended fear and his church.
