Lion Bear and Goliath

When we experience things that scare us in tandem with the presence of God and we survive, we alter our perception of ourselves. Due to irrefutable evidence, we realize that we can in fact stand up to challenges. This positive framing of ourselves opens our solid sense of self for modification, and we grow larger. By allowing ourselves to face with faith a prompting from God which includes a little danger, we invite God to inhabit our lives. Like David who as a shepherd boy faced a lion and a bear and as he did so, he grew as a result. Still a boy he went on to face Goliath but what was a giant after those previous experiences. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
