Victim Impact Statement

Neuro imaging shows that when people remember trauma the whole frontal lobe goes off line. The trauma lives on in our bodies, an imprint left by that experience which remains in the mind brain and body. We might call this being heartbroken but it makes people uptight, frightened and tense. The Trauma makes you feel that you are being victimised. Listen to some of these biblical victim impact statements.

I am the least of the least
Who am I? They won’t listen to me
I am slow of speech and tongue
You have given me no children
I will not let you go until you bless me
remember me and show me kindness; mention me
This son of yours You never offered me so much as a kid for me to celebrate
We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?
