Stop it
In an exercise where we ask the question what is wrong with the word no. Someone in Guildford said it reminded them of an early childhood experience, when a parent said ‘stop it.’ Lots of parents have told their children to stop doing something. But what if what the child was doing at the time was part of how God wired them to be? It is interesting how an incident which caused a wound from many decades in the past can still be painful today. These wounds often emerge when God calls us in mission, for God wants to heal the broken-hearted. God takes the broken and redeems their wounds. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
