Free won’t
A very interesting neuroscientific experiment in Berlin conducted recently by Professor Marcus du Sautoy the Professor for the Public Understanding of Science at Oxford University, showed that an observer can actually detect several seconds before you know, what you are going to do. The observer can see the brain activity through a brain scan computer. So are we just programmed to react and really don’t have free will? Free will is not a given. Alot of Christianity is about working to acquire free will because there are sub-conscious/unconscious impulses which we don’t have conscious control over. Free will is not a given you have to consciously step back and think about what you are thinking about. Free will is an accomplishment almost like a Free Wont, where we stop our automatic impulse. The Bible says be transformed by the renewing of your mind in order to secure your freedom. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
