Alone
It is fascinating to note where the words ‘not good’ first appears in scripture. In creating the world God says after the finish of each day that it was good, which included the sky, the light, the seas and dry land, sun moon and stars, birds fish and other water animals, land animals and humans. But God says it is not good for man to be alone. When we lose faith all we are left with is individualism and our generation is I believe more individual and lonely than previous. We have our selfie sticks, I-PADS, IPODS, I-Tunes, we even have something called a ‘wii’ spelt with two i’s. Our increasingly busy and stressed society makes it difficult to develop the ‘we’ relationships. Reach out to those feeling alone and invite them to take a closer look at Christ and his church community.
