Virtue
According to the Old Testament the principle virtue is Yirah. Yirah a Hebrew word is mentioned 44 times and is translated as fear. Yet it is not well known. One translation is awe which is the antithesis of fear. It could be said that awe precedes faith; and that it is at the root of faith. We must grow in awe in order to reach faith.
