Secondary Emotion

Anger is a secondary emotion it tells you something. It could be that you have a hurt or an unmet need. The brothers of Joseph are angry with him because of the coat of many colours, which shows their dad’s was favouring one son over the rest, so they are jealous so they hated Joseph. The anger reveals their hurt. We can be angry when we have unmet expectations, feeling frustrated because of blocked goals when we had expected things to go our way. Emotions like anger and fear reveal key issues anger and they can be one of your best friends, if you look below the surface.
