Scarecrows
Pastor Alan Scott of Causeway Vineyard uses the illustration of a Scarecrow to talk about the fear in our lives. He says that Scarecrows only work because crows are dumb! For a smart crow scarecrows are where the fruit is! I would support the proposition that fear is where your inheritance is. It is like an advertisement when you see fear. Ask Moses, Esther, Gideon etc. It is like the bible says ‘a table prepared in the presence of your enemies’ or we could say fears. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ who faced his fear in the Garden of Gethsemane and received an inheritance of you and me.
