First words
The first words out of the mouth of Adam in the Garden of Eden after he sinned was ‘I was afraid.’ (Before that time God enjoyed walking in the cool of the day with Adam). The first two words of the Angel greeting the women staring at the empty tomb is Fear Not. Fear is endemic for human beings, but God has dealt with our fear. The first words of the resurrected Jesus to his disciples is PEACE. Fear diminishes the closer you draw near to Christ and you experience the peace originally intended for walking with God. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
