The Forty First day
For forty days Goliath poured his insults on Saul’s army. For forty mornings the day started with Goliath. For forty evenings the day ended with Goliath. For forty days they stood and did nothing. For forty days they were humiliated For forty days the army was paralysed in fear. But on the forty first day a boy arrived almost like a pizza delivery boy and David measures the giant not to himself, but to God. He taught the army and us a lesson, if you focus on God the giant becomes a dwarf. But if you avoid a fear for too long it will own you. Face your fears today and invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
