Simulation

Simulation in the dictionary is imitation or enactment, as of conditions anticipated. If you watch major athletes they try and simulate the race before it has been run by envisioning each aspect of the race. In mission we simulate the future by using elements of the past and draw on experience. Gideon says I am the least of the least. Moses said I am slow of speech and tongue. Both Moses and Gideon used simulation of their past errors and weaknesses. Simulation is a prediction tool where we can envision competing narratives of the future. Listen to how God used simulation in both cases for Moses I am sending you to bring the children of Israel out of Egypt. Gideon you are a mighty man of valor. We need to listen to the voice of God rather than the voice of our fears. Use simulation and invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
