Rejection Therapy

Jia Jiang went through 100 days of Rejection Therapy, aiming to make 100 crazy requests to get rejected. His goal was to desensitize himself from the pain of rejection and overcome his fear. On day 1 he had to borrow $100 from a stranger and on day 2 he had to request a burger refill. After 100 days he found that the fear of rejection is actually worse than the rejection itself. He believes that we get so  freaked out on the front end that we never engage with things that wouldn’t be as bad if we’d just tried them. He became  much more confident and stronger. Jang believes Rejection is not a monster it is the fear of that monster that is the monster. He believes you should just go and confront it. “I learned how to talk to people, compose myself and negotiate why they were saying no, the why part became fun.” As prompted by God try to have a conversation with 100 people over the next 100 days about God and in the exercise find the presence of God. Invite someone to have a closer look at Christ and his church.
