Neediness
Some people feel that the fear of public speaking is the most devastating fear but the fear of public speaking is just being rejected publically. We just don’t want to be rejected both in public or in private. For some of us this fear of rejection is expressed through neediness. Neediness is marked by want of affection, attention, or emotional support. Often when we invite someone to look at Christ and his church. the people we invite experience our neediness. We so need for them to say yes, and in doing so not to reject us. We can be so pent up with the fear gripping us. Face your neediness with knowing that you are accepted by God and invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
