Protecting God
I am trying to understand the psychology behind some of the reasons that stop us doing things for God. One interesting suggestion is that we are protecting God from bad outcomes. So the theory goes in trying to protect God, this stops us praying for the ill, just in case God does not answer the prayer, and this then reflects badly on God. We also instinctively believe that something is wrong with our faith if we can’t answer certain questions which falls back on God again. So we steer away from situations where we might be asked a hard question. Whatever you reason for not accepting the call of God in your life, know that God who made the Universe is well able to protect that which has been created.
