Collywobbles
Collywobbles or heebie jeebies is a feeling of fear, apprehension, or nervousness. Fear affects our physiology, which can lead to intestinal cramps or other intestinal disturbances. One can only imagine what was Simon Peter was going through that day when he denied Jesus three times and then heard the cock crow. He had an opportunity to meet the enquiries about his friendship with Jesus with faith, but he met it with fear. How did that make him feel? Did he have the collywobbles?
