What’s your excuse?
Becky Pippert the author of the great book Out of the saltshaker says in her experience there are 5 reasons why Christians hesitate to share their faith, she also share her thoughts on each one.
1, Fear of offending others – It is great to be sensitive to others, but let the other person know that they are to let you know if you come on too strong in sharing your faith
2. What if they ask me a question I don’t know the answer to – Great Question let me/us find the answer
3. They’ll see what I am really like – Remember we are not the one who is perfect but we know the one who is
4. Fear of rejection – Remember to live to an audience of God alone
5. Forgetting God is already at work – Remember the presence of God
