Draw near to God
Following on from yesterday’s look at the Burning Bush it says “When the Lord saw that (Moses) turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush”. Finally Moses takes a second look and God sees that Moses sees and then God immediately responds, by calling to him. This is how God responds to an accepted invitation. How long had God waited for this moment? It sounds as if God was hoping but not expecting it. James 4:8 says “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Ask God today who to invite and once you receive an answer invite them to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
