Thanks be to God!
In the Episcopal and Anglican tradition the Eucharistic service ends with the phrase Thanks be to God. Now this is not meant to be a thanksgiving that the service has ended! It is meant to be a thanksgiving that we have an opportunity of joining God in mission. We have been fed with body and blood of Jesus, now next time we meet we have an opportunity to offer an invitation to the table. Invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
