Invitation is one aspect of Missio Dei
In missio dei, (the mission of God) God is the primary evangelist, the missioner, but despite this remarkably God invites us into partnership in that great mission! In the gospels we can see that God partnered with Mary in carrying Jesus and God still today also partners with us. We are invited to a journey, we can be converts one day partners in mission the next week. Mission is an invitation to get alongside what God is doing. Therefore listen for the call of God to be in mission and invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and the church.
