Fear of not being worthy
The prodigal son said I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son! Hebrew Father’s do not run to their children But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son. Whether we think we are worthy or not, to be loved by God, or to serve God, once we take a step towards God, God runs towards us. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ (who while we were still far off died for us) and his church
