Hide me in the shadow of your wings
David appeals for protection very often in the Psalms. He is clearly fearful, apprehensive and threatened. We may not be victorious all the time but this phrase “hide me in the shadow of your wings”, found in the Psalm 18 v 7 tells us that we have access to God’s strength to contend with any situation. In the knowledge of the protection of God invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church so that they might find the same protection.
