The Blame Game
Why are we not inviting people to take a look at Christ? What is wrong in Western Christianity? It would not have occurred to me to blame our philosophy. We find it much easier to blame the act of worship, the long sermons, the less than contemporary worship, the other people in the congregation, the fact that people are not coming in the numbers they once were rather than blaming our philosophy. God’s philosophy for us is “Don’t be afraid for I am with you”. Western Christianity philosophy is “I am afraid of rejection.” A few errors in our philosophy repeated every day has left us where we are! Stop blaming circumstances, or other people and invite someone to take a closer look at Christ who says don’t be afraid.
