Testing times
When you are young your immune system is still teaching itself to defend you from attack, so it is in the Christian life. Our faith will be tested so that it can be strengthened. We can however mistake the testing as a direct attack on the poor quality of our faith and conclude that we can never become strong Christians. This is a mistake. James says that your endurance has the chance to grow, “because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” Put your faith to the test and invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
