Internal Communication of the Invitee and God
I was speaking to someone who said that when they asked their neighbour to church, that their neighbour said no. The inviter then said I am sure you would really enjoy it. The neighbour now more firmly responded “I said no”. This made the inviter think that the whole conversation had taken the person backwards in their relationship with God, not closer. But it is my experience that all the inviter was hearing was the on-going internal communication between the invitee and God. It had surfaced through the invitation of the inviter. God is seeking relationship and often we all resist. Invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
