Redefining Success
In mission we have swallowed success as being a yes. Where the person we invite or speak to immediately embraces Christianity. We fail to see at times the invisible activity of God. Like Elisha’s servant we need to have our spiritual eyes opened to reality. Christianity has been built on a pathway of humiliation and suffering, yet this produces life and all its abundance. That sounds like success to me and yet in the world’s eyes that looks like failure. This is the paradox of Christianity the pathway looks like failure, but in fact it leads to success. Invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and his church and help people to see how to succeed.
