Cross Examination
I am not going to invite someone for fear of cross-examination. In law, cross-examination is the interrogation of a witness called by one’s opponent. It is the close questioning of a hostile witness. In the great commission Jesus asks us to be his witnesses telling people about him. Some of those opportunities will be easy and someone will be hard or even hostile. But we will be following the example of our Saviour who was cross examined by Herod and Pilate. Invite someone today into a God conversation so that they might be able to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
