They have to ask!
One national church leader told me that their major initiative was there, so that people in the nation without a relationship with Christ could meet Christians. (He was describing it as almost like a dating service). Then at some point (those people without a relationship with Christ) will feel safe enough to ask a Christian about the reason for their hope! I am not against initiatives that are meeting the needs of people, but I am against them as an avoidance strategy for Christians. God is prompting Christians to invite and for us to do the asking already and yet we fail to respond to God. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church and be proactive in responding to God as well as reactive in our response to others.
