Ever been reviled?
Blessed are you when people revile you. Revile means to be criticized in an abusive or angrily insulting manner. How can you be happy when people do this to you as a result of an invitation. In Acts 5 it says The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. Those Apostles knew that they were not responsible for the conversion of anyone but to be reviled for God’s sake is a high honour. We are sharing in the mission of God and in the sufferings of Christ. Invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and his church and maybe you will be reviled!
