The Invitational Motto
In a town not far from where I live called Warrington, the town motto is the latin phrase Deus Dat Incrementum, which means God gives the increase. It is is from 1 Corinthians 3:7. The full text reads “Therefore, neither he that plants is anything, nor he that waters; but God that gives the increase.” This expresses the thought that, although we can plant an invitation we know that the flowering of the seed is from the Almighty God. Invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and his church and may Deus Dat incrementum be your motto.
