Looking at churches that grow around the world they seem to me to be very focused. They don’t let people bogged down in confusion or bogged down into trying to figure out what the church leadership wanted them to do. So for your church in the area of mission, what if there were only three things that you wanted your congregation to do, what might they be? It mustn’t be detailed, complicated or intimidating. Maybe Jesus had three things as well. One, ask people and you will receive an answer. Two, seek and you will find many to invite. Three, knock and many opportunities will be opened to you. Introduce radical simplicity in mission today and then invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
