Invitational Water Walking
In the area of invitation Jesus calls us to walk on water. When Simon Peter stepped out of the boat, he obeyed the prompting of Christ. This is what happens in invitation. Jesus prompts us to invite someone and we have to walk towards that prompting. It is a type of walking on water. We can be afraid, we could sink but we must keep our eyes on Jesus, for Jesus is calling us towards him. Whether we sink or not Jesus is there to hold us and embrace us. He surrounds us and is beside us. Invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and his church and know that Jesus is with us.
