Invitation was always part of Christianity back in the day. Yet in our generation Christianity appears to have become a private thing. When did faith become private? When you think about it, science is public, faith private, the arts are public, faith is private! This is the reason that Christians are seen as being either pushy, bible bashing. But with friends it appears to be even worse, it is like we are crossing a line, or using our friendship somehow.
