Triage is the process of determining the priority of patients’ treatments based on the severity of their condition. This rations patient treatment efficiently when resources are insufficient for all to be treated immediately. The term comes from the French verb trier, meaning to separate, sift or select. The A B C of triage A is for Airways can they get breath, B is for Breathing Are they breathing? And C is for Circulation Are they bleeding out? There is a triage we are trying to establish in Invitational discipleship A is for knowing God, not just head knowledge but heart knowledge. We do this in seeking God’s prompting. B is for knowing self, what blind spots are there? Where am I afraid? What am I afraid of? C is for knowing ministry we know our own special gifts. The more inviting we do the more we will hone and discover our gifts and skills. Invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
