The Invitational Heart
We cannot trust our rational mind. We are unconsciously unconscious, we don’t know what we don’t know. Fear lurks in our unconscious mind which we might also call our heart. David expresses a plea in Psalm 139; “Search me O God and know my heart”. We need to pray for insight for God to conduct an investigation as David did, to be able to locate the fear within which stops us inviting. Invite someone today and allow God to show you the fear within and allow God to heal you through the practice of invitation.
