Invitation to the sweet spot of life
We are obsessed today with safety and security. The only problem is that safety and security means your world becomes very small. You might as well put a Do not disturb sign on your life! Christianity offers a different solution. Our safety and security is found at the centre of God’s will for our life. We might call that living in the sweet spot. In tennis, baseball, or cricket, a given swing will result in a more powerful hit if the ball strikes the racquet or bat on the sweet spot. This means we can face our fears, and take risks knowing God is with us, the knowledge of God’s presence, despite what is going around us is our sweet spot. Invite someone to take a closer look to see if they can find their sweet spot with God.
