Invitation and the troubled heart
Jesus said don’t let not your hearts be troubled in answering a question from Thomas and then Philip. Jesus seems to suggest that the world does not give the same sort of peace that is available from a relationship with Christ. The world certainly has many, many troubled hearts and minds. For many of us, we do not have peace. Worry, fear, hesitation, anxiety, concern, trepidation, and being scared show the state of our hearts. Invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and his church and let Jesus bring his peace to other troubled hearts.
