Invitation helps deal with the lie
Often when I am asking why we are not going to be doing inviting, people say they might lose a friend over the invite. They might ask me a hard question.They might feel judged. Whenever we hear ourselves using the word might, we are doing the thinking for our friends. You might gain a deeper friendship, you might be able to learn the answer to a difficult question together, they might be pleased to be invited. There is a saying “Deal with the lie and the fear will die”. We feel the cobweb of fear but don’t deal with the lie spider. Go for the cause not for the consequence. We mustn’t live in fear. Face the lie behind the fear and invite someone close to take a closer look at Christ and His church.
