The Big Ask
The ‘ask’ is a big production i.e. asking someone to marry you. Nowadays some young men wanting to propose to their girlfriends put together a elaborate sequence of events. They have crew, location and actors are recruited, normally the friends of the couple who are sworn to secrecy to keep the girlfriend in the dark. The production which might involve limousines, champagne, white roses, and anything the mind can imagine, precedes the young man getting down on one knee. What girl can say to no to an invitation like that? Now I don’t suggest you go to those lengths, but invitation to take a closer look at Christ is a big ask. It can change a life forever!
