Spirit propelled Invitation
The gospel writer Luke confirms that the Holy Spirit propels Jesus for a trial in the wilderness. It seems strange that a trial is best for God’s son at this point. We all agree that trials are important as long as it is someone else facing one. People find it strange that when prompted by God to invite someone, that person says no and we wonder if our spiritual radar is out. This surely can not be correct. But of course if it is good enough for God’s son, why would it not be good enough for us? Allow the Holy Spirit to propel you forward and invite someone today to take a closer look at Christ and His church, you might get a yes, you might get a no, but God will be with you.
