Don’t feed your fears
Fear. It comes in many guises; fear of the unknown; fear of failure; fear of success. Fear of failure is the one that accosts many church leaders. They have at the disposal people who have the talent and ability displayed daily in their jobs and careers to become invitational. The calculation that goes on in the Leader’s head is “what if I push them too far they fail and then go on and blame the leader?” Rather than endure the risk that accompanies a foray into the unknown Leader’s play it safe and keep with not taking a risk. By not taking a risk we feed our fears. So invite someone today in your church to join you in becoming invitational and overcome your fear.
