A special invite to Alpha
The Alpha Course contains something special. A chance to explore the meaning of life with a group of open-minded people. It is a precious opportunity, worth a pearl of great price. It is therefore worth something. In inviting people to a Course I think we need to be confident of what Alpha has enabled in the lives of people and invite in the following manner “If I invited you to Alpha would you attend?” It implies that I am not inviting you yet. In other words I am not saying I am inviting you I want to see your commitment. Would you accept the invitation that I might extend to you?
