Comfortable being Uncomfortable?

Most people who start churches and organisations start off with a fair amount of fear,  uncertainty and anxiety, with the possibility of failure. We are very vulnerable because we are inviting people to take part in the new initiative. Part of the dynamic is that we don’t have a lot to lose in the beginning. Then we build  something substantial, – then we do have a lot to lose! At that point we are not able to move  through fear and uncertainty as we were in the beginning. We don’t trust in the process  that brought growth. We start to trust in the product of the process. To grow you need  to be really comfortable in being uncomfortable  and then you’ll be given a series of God-given opportunities brilliantly disguised as problems and challenges.
