Invitation The Birthplace
Invitational vulnerability is at the core of fear anxiety and shame. Fear and anxiety paralyse us. But shame is the real cause of our trouble. it hides behind fear. Shame corrodes a part of us that believes we can change. As Christians we need to name it, bring it out into the light and it will lose some of its power. We need to work out what triggers shame in our lives and then conduct a reality check because we are worthy of love and belonging In Christ I am loved by my heavenly Father.The thought of Invitation seems to trigger fear and shame in most of us and makes us feel vulnerable but invitational vulnerability has not only fear anxiety and shame but it is also the birthplace of joy, love and faith.
