The shield of Faith
In Pilgrims Progress by John Bunyan, Christian is the main character in the story. He has a magical shield of faith which makes him invincible with one caveat he has to head straight towards his problems, and keep his shield in front of him. If he goes straight towards his challenges he defeats them, but if he turns around and runs away from his fears, he is vulnerable. This is true in life also things dissolve as we consistently move towards them with faith that God is with us. Is there something you are afraid of right now that you might be avoiding? What is that thing that you might take some simple action on? Please remember that action cures fear, but postponement fertilses fear. Invite someone to take a closer look at Christ and his church.
