The author and New York Times columnist David Brooks, in his book The Road to Character talks about Virtues. He says CV Virtues are what you bring to your job. Eulogy virtues are what they say about you after you are dead Have I been kind, brave honest, capable of great love? Whose life have I touched? We all know the eulogy virtues are more important, but most of us spend a lot more time on the CV virtues and a lot more clear about how to build a career than how to build a good character. The apostle Paul talked about character, he said suffering produces perseverance, perseverance character and character hope. On the road to character leads to hope.
